British Retail Consortium ( BRC) Global Food Safety Standard Issue 6

In January 2012 Issue 6 of the BRC Global Food Safety Standard comes into effect. There are many changes to the requirements and in the manner audits will be carried out. One significant change in the section on Site Standards under Housekeeping and Hygiene is the expanded requirements for Clean in Place (CIP) systems in 4.11.6.3.
