Ecolab, the infection prevention specialists, have launched a revolutionary new system for the automated reprocessing of surgical instruments.

The new SolidSafe™ System incorporates Ecolab’s unique, patented SolidSafe™ technology, which makes it possible to generate as much cleaning power as 80 litres of conventional liquid concentrate from just one 4kg capsule of the solid MetalClean product.

Developed to promote staff safety in SSD, the system helps ensure greater compliance with best practice guidelines on safety and lifting, providing:

• Much easier handling for SSD personnel

• No spills or drips - safer floors, no chemical exposure

 

The system also provides many environmental and efficiency benefits:

• Continuous workflow - rapid change-overs

• Vastly reduced storage and transportation costs
