Improved SteriShield Delivery System

New cleanroom trigger spray system is more user-friendly.

Shield Medicare – a division of Ecolab – has launched a new development to its patented SteriShield Delivery System. It has been proven that conventional trigger sprays used with cleanroom disinfectants suck back air and therefore contamination of the bottle contents can occur within hours, leading to a very efficient spread of contamination around the cleanroom. The SteriShield Delivery System pioneered the use of a closed trigger system, whereby air cannot enter the bottle and the contents remain sterile throughout use.

The latest development incorporates a new trigger that has been designed following extensive research with our customers. This trigger includes previously popular features, plus additional features such as a variable nozzle, a broad spray pattern, a spring which gives a rapid return of the trigger and a more ergonomically designed, easy-to-clean shroud. These features make it more comfortable in-hand and easier to use.

As the SteriShield Delivery System is dependant on each component, the new trigger/bottle combination has undergone the full validation program to ensure the contents remain sterile throughout use. Full details are available on request.

The new system is available on all Klercide 0.5L and 1.0L bottles.
